Caring with Compassion Web

Caring with Compassion is a medical school curriculum designed to teach students and other providers how to effectively treat at-risk populations, such as the homeless. It is the first such curriculum to be presented in the form of an online game.

Female patient game character. As the learner plays the game in the role of provider, they encounter the patient over several days of treatment. The variety of outfits and hairstyles is meant to suggest this is the same patient seen over time. Success means that the health of the patient improves. Failure means that the patient dies from insufficient treatment.
